See what got tested, see what got missed
Your kid got tested. Now what? Walk through the tests they were given, see exactly which layers of reading got evaluated and which got skipped, then plug in the scores to get a clear picture of where the breakdown is and what to push the school for next.
Check every test your child has been given. This includes the school's evaluation, any private/outside evaluations, and classroom-level screening data. Don't worry if you're not sure about a test; you can always come back and change your selections.
Here's how your selected tests map to the five layers of the reading pipeline. Filled means you have good data for that layer. Gaps mean the school (or your outside evaluator) didn't test that area.
Enter the scores from each test you selected. Only fill in what you have. Tip: Standard Scores have a mean of 100 and SD of 15. Scaled Scores have a mean of 10 and SD of 3. Percentages and WCPM are entered as-is.
Use this in emails to the school, share with your advocate, or bring to the IEP meeting.
